When you become self-aware, you've just become the dominant species on the planet. When you invent tools, weapons and machinery, you're the strongest, fastest and most powerful. When you invent computers, you're more intelligent than you can ever be genetically. There is no advantage in evolving any further and so, evolution of the species stops. Our bodies evolved sufficiently to overcome our environment. With fire, we are always warm and with stone walls we're always safe from predators.
Anyone thinking there can ever be any entity that has evolved into a god, is probably delusional.
